Cebu

I'd been away for two years. So much have changed. But the people stayed the same. It took me two full weeks to fully adjust to the way of life there i.e., everyone was slow, traffic was very bad yet people were still smiling, etc. During the first two weeks, I felt like Cebu was confining. I got bored, especially after the Sinulog festival was over with. Then I decided to take matters into my own hands. I wandered around my mom's neighborhood on my own and started making new friends. I met folks who were a lot younger than I am. They all turned out to be my not-so-distant relatives! Needless to say, I started having fun soon thereafter!
