Up until today, I have never been inside a mosque. I learned that only Muslim women were required to cover their heads prior to entering the mosque. But everyone must take off their shoes.
For yesterday is but a dream, and tomorrow is only a vision. But today well lived makes yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore to this day.

Sultan Ahmed Mosque
The Sultan Ahmed Mosque is the national mosque of Turkey, and is a historical mosque in Istanbul, the capital of the Ottoman Empire (from 1453 to 1923). The mosque is also known as the Blue Mosque for the blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior. It was built between 1609 and 1616, during the rule of Ahmed I. Like many other mosques, it also comprises a tomb of the founder, a madrasah and a hospice. The Sultan Ahmed Mosque has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Istanbul.
