Vatican City

I arrived in Rome's Leonardo Da Vinci airport this morning, took the 35-minute Leonardo Express train ride to Termini Station and hailed a cab to the hotel. After having breakfast, I returned to Termini Station to meet up with Lorraine, my friend from Oslo, who has just arrived from the airport. We then had pizza for lunch, then headed to the Vatican soon after. I just could not wait to be standing in the middle of St. Peter's Square! I was too excited. And once we were at St. Peter's Square, I was completely awestruck! What an amazing experience it was! I could not believe my eyes. There was so much to see I didn't want to blink. See for yourself.
