For yesterday is but a dream, and tomorrow is only a vision. But today well lived makes yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore to this day.

Chichen Itza, Mexico
Just returned from my whirlwind tour of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. I am still awestruck! Here's my first installment from that trip. Chichen Itza is one of many structures installed by the Maya civilization some one thousand years ago. Most of them have been destroyed during the Maya's countless battles with their enemies and later during the Spanish conquest. Chichen Itza is considered to be one of the most important Mayan structures. Around this area, you can still see Mayan people selling handicrafts and arts. For more on the Mayans, watch Mel Gibson's Apocalypto.
