For yesterday is but a dream, and tomorrow is only a vision. But today well lived makes yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore to this day.

Got Equality?
Recently I voiced my opinion supporting the legalization of same-sex marriage. In the process I've been confronted by people who are strongly convinced its not a benefit that should be afforded everyone. If you must ask why I support same-sex marriages, here's my answer: I believe in equality, tolerance, minimal to zero government intervention on its citizens' personal lives and most importantly the separation of State and religion. In the US where the separation of State and religion is clearly defined in its constitution, I say it's a shame and hypocritical that in this day & age we are still debating this issue. And it's funny how Republicans, who are strongly opposed to same-sex marriage, are the ones who have made the headlines recently arising from acts of pedophilia, airport "pick-up-for-sex incidents", extra-marital affairs, patronizing prostitution, etc. Isn't it time to wake up yet, America? Who do we think we are to mandate who our neighbors should love and marry? Maybe we just need to get our noses out of other people's business? We wouldn't like it if the same were done to us, would we? -SZ
