Eating in Madrid

There is never a shortage of alcohol here. It's recommended with every meal actually, no matter what time of day. And I love it!

Taberna San Isidro
One of the hundreds of tabernas around Plaza Mayor.
A cup of capuccino costs less than 1 Euro ($1.30). Tipping is optional.

Pocketbook-friendly menu. A complete meal of tapas, main course and wine can be had for less than $10 Euros (US$13). Make sure to ask for menú del día to avail of the day's special menu.
Just remember, the Madrileños take lunch between 2-4 pm.

Tapas are to die for. Yumm, I love them!
